Stones KartSport was established in 1989 and started life as Stones Bros Mechanical Repairs and Services in 1980, a lot of people today still recognise us as Stones Bros.

 

Brothers Ian & Graham have always had a passion for motorsport and together have been involved in various forms of racing since first starting as teenagers with club lap dashes with a major highlight competing in the 1984 James Hardie Bathurst 1000 in a Mazda RX7. In late 1988, Stones Bros became involved in karting after Ian and Graham went to a kart meeting at Oran Park, they decided to give it a try and shortly after, purchased a kart shop, the rest they say is history.

 

The business has always been a family affair and Ian & Lilian's son Nigel joined the business in 1992. When Graham, his wife Shirley and their two children moved to Perth; Ian, Lilian and Nigel continued the business, whilst still racing themselves; attending majority of meetings in Sydney Metro as well as the major meetings in the regional areas. Keeping with the family tradition; Nigel's wife Jane has joined the company full time and you will also often see their daughter Steph helping out at both the shop and at the track.

 

Stones KartSport has grown to be one of Australia's prominent Kart shops and has been consistently one of Drew Price Engineering's Top Selling Dealers including #1 Arrow Dealer in 2011.

 

Stones KartSport prides themselves on their friendly service to all karters; whether you are an experienced karter, just beginning karting or are after some weekend recreational fun.

 

Our fully equipped workshop provides complete in-house services to all levels of karters both at our premises and trackside.

 

Trackside Spare parts van is equipped with all the bits and pieces that you will need

• Engine servicing, blue printing and diagnostic tuning

• Dyno tuning and run in service

• Kart setup service and Chassis Maintenance

• Race Tuition

• Extended trading hours – we are open after you have finished work!
